About Us:
We’re 2 Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) who live, work and play in South Florida. We both created our successful 6 figure (full-fee) private practices (Bayview Therapy & Lemieux Solutions Unlimited) from the ground up.

Believe us when we tell you the path to success was NOT a straight line, rather it was one that had many twists, turns, spikes and drops much like the stock market.
We learned a lot along the way and have fallen in love with business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. We’re passionate about inspiring other mental health professionals to fulfill their private practice dreams and live a life they love!
How it All Began...

We met in 2006 in licensure supervision, crossed paths again in 2010 during AAMFT “Supervision of Supervision”.
​
In 2012 - 2014, we served on the Broward Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (BAMFT). Kate served as President, and Katie served as Vice President. During that time, we realized how our leadership qualities and strengths created an awesome and synergistic team.
In 2014, we launched K2 Visionaries. K2 Visionaries started targeting mental health professionals on the state level and then nationally through coaching, paperwork, licensure courses, and events.

Fast forward to New Years 2016, we pivoted to offer more value to our Startup Nation community by expanding into the online world and launching the Private Practice Startup. We offer podcasts, online courses, masterclasses, private practice paperwork, and our Signature Marketing E-Course. ​
​
As of 2025, we've recorded over 360 podcast episodes with guest experts from around the globe on every practice building/growing topic you could imagine. We've helped thousands of therapists build and grow their private practices through our Marketing E-Course program.

We are also passionate about helping therapists protect themselves and feel more confident knowing their paperwork meets the legal and ethical requirements of our profession with our Attorney Approved Private Practice Paperwork.
