startup nation, meet: Will Kimmins

Will is married with 2 healthy children who actually enjoy spending time with their Dad (for which he should be eligible for some form of lifetime achievement award).

Will has spent 20 years on active duty with the US military, most of that time in Special Operations. He received all the expected awards and decorations that come from an adult life spent bouncing from one conflict to the next. One of his greatest achievements is maintaining his marriage throughout his career and managing to parent healthy kids.

Will graduated from Wake Forest University with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a member of the national counseling honor society Chi Sigma Iota.

Will has the most stereotypical list of hobbies ever for a Special Operations Veteran: He works on cars and motorcycles, makes his own beer, builds his own firearms, and makes custom furniture.
